What is TradeHire?
TradeHire is a verified hiring platform for licensed trades, launching across Maine. It connects two sides who both rely on trust: licensed technicians looking for better work, and the shops and trade companies that need qualified people.
What makes it different is verification. Instead of self-reported badges, TradeHire checks every trade license against official state licensing databases — confirming license type, authority level, and current status at the source. Employers search a bench of state-verified tradespeople; technicians get discovered for the credentials they’ve actually earned.
Privacy is built in. A technician’s name, phone, and email stay private by default — employers see only the verified license, trade category, and geographic availability until the technician chooses to reveal their identity. There are no placement commissions. TradeHire supports Electricians, Limited Electricians, Oil Technicians, Plumbers, Propane & Natural Gas Technicians, Commercial Driver’s License holders, and EPA-Certified technicians.
